AdsManager - End of life
It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.
AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.
All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.
The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.
2.6 RC2 is out. All bugs reported on Redmine have been fixed. Stable version planned this month.

After two months of Beta Testing, I am glad to announce the availability of the Adsmanager 2.6 RC1 and Paidsystem 1.2 RC1.
All majors issues have been fixed and many minor issues too.
The next release RC2 will contains :
- Bugs fixes of RC1
- Translation languages files
- Compatiblity with Joomla 1.6
For the community who is helping me with translation please submit the update of your languages files based on the new RC1. (some new translation are needed)

After long time without update, Adsmanager 2.6 Beta and PaidSystem 1.2 Beta are released.
This is not just an update, this is a full rework of all the components.
Now the components are based on the Joomla 1.5 MVC.
As I didn't want to just create a version compatible with 1.5, the work to accomplish was like created a new component.
I tried to start this 10 months ago, but until beginning of august I didn't do anything (Busy on other projects and motivation was not there)
Do not except any new feature, this is "just" a 1.5 MVC rearchitecture. (you have some improvements due to 1.5 MVC that you didn't have with legacy)
But with this new design, It will be more more easier to add new features.
I decided also to change the way to report bugs using a bug tracker (tracking issue on the forum was a nightmare)
So I installed a Redmine here :http://91.121.24.220/redmine
Do not hesitate to submit Bugs on this tracker.
Why not on joomlacode ? Because Adsmanager is free, but PaidSystem is not (so I didn't want to separate the bug trackers)
Also, I wanted to give you more vision on the current dev and next version. A roadmap is available on redmine and you can also acces the SVN : svn://91.121.24.220/adsmanager
For the incomming months, I planned to release two versions of each components.
The first version will be a step of my vision of what should be Adsmanager
The second version will be Adsmanager 3.0

Regarding the stabilisation process. I will follow the Joomla process. Beta -> Release Candidate -> Stable.
My Plan is to have the stable release in 1 month. (The beta is already near a RC version)

Finally, I wanted also to share the work with you about language (I need to find the better way to do that). But If you found error in french/english language files or if you want to give to the community a new language file, create a ticket on redmine, with your contribution.
Two "small" updates:
AdsManager 2.5 RC2 has been reuploaded with a couple of changes, we discovered that there where left some debug code in there, and we have made a new function inside AdsManager to work around the missing error handler in the legacy plugin of Joomla 1.5.xx which causes all those blank popup warnings/errors so now it should be possible to see what the errors actually are, makes it a bit easier for you guys to debug your own sites as well as we will be able to assist you with the errors without having to desecrate the whole component and add all kinds of exit() and die() codes all over to debug each possible if or else in the entire component just to see that you actually where missing a field in your table which made your Ads list full of empty ads which no one understood.
