Hello,

I've just made a test and i'm not able to reproduce your problem.

This error message is only displayed when the limit ads by user in the categories are not set.

So if you try to set this parameter to -1, does it solve the problem ?

To play back the problem should try to create a site with AdsManager 2.8.2 insert a few announcements and then upgrade to version 2.9 and try to insert an ad try using joomla 2.5 and not 3.1
the problem occurs with the update with a new installation

I've just made the tests on Joomla 2.5 and 3.0 and everything went fine.

Did you try the solution i've proposed in my last reply ?

Hi loic,

I've tried that, but it won't save. The ads per user is set -1 already but then when I try to go in and set each category to -1, it won't save.

Do you have an error message displayed when you try to save an ad ?

You may need to enable the error display in the Joomla configuration to see it.

I never get an error. It just doesn't save. But if I downgrade ads manager to the 2.8, it works fine and I never have to set each category to -1.
