Hello,

I'm working to replace an old listbingo with a new adsmanger module.
Actually, I'm trying to add a field : a mandatory date. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Users can validate a new add, even if they don't put a date. Others mandatory fields (text for exampe) work !
Is it a bug ? is it possible ?

Je travaille actuellement sur le remplacement d'un vieux module listbingo vers adsmanager.
J'essaye de placer un champ date obligatoire, malheureusement, ca ne fonctionne pas. Les utilisateurs peuvent valider une nouvelle annonce, même s'ils ne renseignent aucune date. Pour les autres type de champs, ca fonctionne.
Est-ce un bug ? Est-ce au moins possible ?

Oui, il y a d'ailleurs bien l’astérisque dans le formulaire, qui précise que c'est obligatoire.

La vérification des champs obligatoires passe par du javascript.
Donc si il y a un conflit javascript, il est possible que la vérification ne se fasse pas.

Si vous regardez la console de votre navigateur (F12 sur Chrome) voyez vous une erreur ?

Non, il n'y a aucun conflit javascript. Mais je pense avoir mis le doigt sur le problème.

En fait, le javascript semble effectuer les contrôles sur les input qui possèdent l'attribut required. Or, les champs de type date n'ont pas cet attribut (AdsManager 3.0.4).

Je ne sais pas si vous faite partie des développeurs du module, si c'est le cas, ça peut vous intéresser :
j'ai regardé un peu le code, et d'après moi, ça se passe dans le fichier components\com_adsmanager\helpers\field.php. Si j'ajoute

ligne 397 :
	if ($field->required == 1) {
		$options['required'] = ''; // <<< Ajout de l'attribut required
		$options['class'] = 'adsmanager_required';
		$options['mosReq'] = '1';
		$options['mosLabel'] = "$strtitle";
	}

alors je retrouve dans mon formulaire l'attribut required, et tout rentre dans l'ordre.
Je pense que c'est un oubli dans le cas du type de champ date.
