AdsManager - End of life

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

I am running a web site on Joomla 3.2. This is a non-commercial project; however, the content is closed to registered users who share the same hobby as myself.
I came across an idea to add a classified ads section.

Assumptions:
1. registered users can offer items for sale
2. they would do this by themselves but admin would have to approve their input; they would have the access to the classified ads section after having logged in to the site
3. the ads would be avtive for a limited time of 2 or 3 weeks with the possibility of extension
4. as the project has a non-commercial nature they would not pay anything for this; though, companies (if interested to reach the users with their offer) most probably would be expected to pay something

And now the qusetion: is the AdsManager the right solution that meet my expectations?
