AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Ok for the other user of adsmanager the problem was: allow User Registration in UserManager Joomla configuration was set to "OFF" instead of "ON".

If you want user to be able to create account, you need to activate this in Joomla!

A)One cannot post an Ad if the following are selected,

1.Create user account (if needed) to post ads
2.User account is required to post ads.

B ) If 'Visitors can post ad without creating an account' is selected & if an Ad is posted, we get "Warning: Message Body empty" (Even if it is filled with details)

Hello,

For A, did you take a look in the option of the user manager of Joomla if the registration is allowed ?

For B, that is caused by the email sent when a new ad is posted. If the users can post ads without account, they don't have any email address so an error appears. You need to disable the emails sent at the creation of the ads if you choose this option.
