Before we order a gold membership from the adsmanager we have a question:

Is it possible with the gold to display a map with all or selected categories with different coloured markers (one for no entrys, one for one or more entries in this category)?
Our plan: One category stands for one address of a allotment association (in German: Kleingartenverein, in French: jardins). When an entry added to one of this allotment/Verein/jardin, the marker display this on the map with an another colour. With a click on this marker, it open directly the category, display the ads in the grid. For a example to see what I mean, please take a look on our website: www.gartenfreunde-braunschweig.de/uebers...kleingaertnervereine. It shows an map with marker, that display our member associations in our city.

I hope, you understand what I mean. Sorry for my bad englisch. :oops:

Hello,

It is not possible to do exactly what you want, however, the map will display each ads present in the displayed list. (So if you have 10 ads displayed that have the gmap field filled, then the map will display them. If you change the page to display the next 10 ads, the map will be updated to display them)

I don't know if I'm clear enough and I hope this can answer your question

Okay. In the free version I set for each category one user who allowed to insert an add. This user have address fields from the place where to find the garden/jardin. Can the map display the marker from these custom made fields? And can the map more then 10 ads display at the same time? Or the 10 ads were just an example from you?

In the current module, you can just display in the map the ads in the current list view (so the number depends on the pagination).

You have a marker for each garden, you will have to add a gmap field (paid version). Then the user will set the position of the garden in the ad.

The on the global map you will see the position.
