AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hello,
i have adsmanager 2.6 installed on an old Joomla 1.5 version, i would like to migrate Joomla to the 2.5 stable version and also Adsmanager to the last stable version.
Is it possible?
Can you suggest me a technical way to migrate Adsmanager?

Hello,

Best is to upgrade adsmanager to 2.9.9 on a backup on the joomla 1.5 website
Then do a backup of adsmanager table (sql) + images/com_adsmanager/
then use a tools like jUpgrade to export your users table to a 2.5 Joomla installation.
Then install 2.9.9 on this 2.5 joomla installation, and restore the SQL + images/com_adsmanager
