Hello,

Adding a filter in a list view is not possible, one way to do that is to assign the field F in the simple search section of the advanced search module.
That way, when a user select the category C3 the field F will be displayed on the screen and if he choose another category, the field F will not be displayed.

Best regards.

Hello,

You did not tell me if the solution I gave you in my last message worked or not.
I will work on your website only if it doesn't work.

Like I said, the best way to do that is to put a search module in on the list page via the menu assignement tab, then add the custom field as a search option.

Best regards.

Hello.
You said: "Adding a filter in a list view is not possible, one way to do that is to assign the field F in the simple search section of the advanced search module.

Yes, it would be the desired functioning. For me it is not working.

If you look at my page, you can see that first the "search by category" dropdown is displayed, and the custom search field is displayd only after selecting a category.
But I would need only the custom search field to be displayed, as I have already selected the category.
Please check my attachements.

Is it possible to restrict the simple search module to search only in a pre-selected category? E.g. via the "root category" field of the advanced search module?
Thank you and best regards!
