AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hello,

Looking for a solution to replace the email of the user in announcements by email to my admin.
I want to receive the request and then I send it to the user who posted the ad.

Following the configuration of the contact in the adsManager configuration.

If you display a contact form in the ads, you need to change the third parameters of the function sendMessage in 'components/com_adsmanager/controller.php', the first call of this function is line 763:
TMail::sendMail($email,$name,$content->email,$subject,$body,1,NULL,NULL,$files)

replace the variable '$content->email', by your email.

If you display directly the email within the ads, replace the variable named '$value' by your email in 'components/com_adsmanager/helpers/field.php' line 197 :
$return .= TText::_('ADSMANAGER_FORM_EMAIL').": <a href='mailto:".$value."'>".$value."</a>";

Please, be aware that any update of adsManager will erase these modification.

Hello,

I'm testing by replacing "$content->email " with an email "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. " but the component does not load.
Is it mandatory to have Uddeim for AdsManager?
