AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Hello,

What is the difference between the 2 permission levels for Adsmanager in the backend :
"Configure" and "Access Administration Interface" ?

By default, Super User has access to both, and Administrator has access to the second only.
But I don't see any difference, Administrator has access to the Configuration of Adsmanager too.

Is there a way to change this ?

Hello,

In the Global Configuration of Joomla, the ACL 'Configuration' is about the configuration who is saved by Joomla inside his own database table.

AdsManager uses his own configuration system, therefor, this ACL is ignored by the composant.

Did you need to limit the access of the AdsManager Configuration ?

Ah ok I see.
Yes indeed I would like to restrict acces in backend to the Ads tab only, for a moderator.
Is this possible?

This is not a feature of AdsManager.

You need to directly custom the component or we can do it for you for a price.

Just to be sure, it is also not included in the paid version of Adsmanager ? I was thinking to buy Silver (Paidsystem) someday.

May I have an idea of the price you would ask for such a development ?
