AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

Dear all,

We have AdsManager implemented in our deployment with CB and akeeba subscriptions also installed.
We created some subscriptions 3months, 6months, 12months and Free so after a period of time the users will have to renew their subscription so they are able to continue using the service.

Our question is:

How can we configure the users that took (3months, 6months, 12months) having unlimited ad registrations for that period, and the Free subscription users are limited to 5 ad registrations max.

For the time being by using adsmanager configuration we can set 'Number of Ads by User' to 5 ads, but only globally.

Hello,

You need to set number of ads per user = 5 ads => Correct
You need to set unlimited number of ads for this specific group in paidsystem => Not done.

Hi,

1. Didn't made to find how to "set unlimited number of ads for this specific group in paidsystem => Not done.'

2. Also after the CB and akeeba subscriptions deployment, when you click on "Create new account" ALL PERFECT, system redirects to Subscriptions page. B)

But if you click on 'New Ad" or "My ads" in the AdsManager menu, you get redirected in the plain login page, and there the problems begin. :(

Hello, There is a CB redirect plugin (maybe CB "paid" version) that will redirect all request to com_users to com_comprofiler

Add the bottom of paidsystem configuration page:
"Make all categories free for selected groups."
