Override in file view.html.php

Override in file view.html.php was created by nocturna
Hello,

I made an override in line 218 of the file 'templates\mytemplate\html\com_adsmanager\result\view.html.php

The override is for the "Result" title that appears as a result of using the search module to have the same style as the H1 titles defined in my template:

The resulting line after the override is:

218 $ name = '<h1 class = "art-postmetadataheader art-postheader art-postheadericon">' JText :: _ ('ADSMANAGER_PAGE_RESULT'). '</ H1>';

What happens is that this only works if I perform the override in the original file in 'components\com_adsmanager\views\result\view.html.php

Is this correct or is there a step I do not do well?

Thank you very much,

Best regards
J Andres

view.html.php cannot be override, only tmpl/default.php can be changed.

Okay, I understand, I understand, thank you very much.

Anyway, since I need that change in the code of the file 'components \ com_adsmanager \ views \ result \ view.html.php to match the CSS style of all H1 titles on the page, I'll leave it that way, I do not think that Is going to cause any kind of problem.

Thank you very much for your reply,

Best regards,
J Andres

Hello,

If you change something in the code of view.html.php, save a copy of the modified file somewhere. You will need to redo the modification at every adsmanager update.

Best regards.
