I want to display a number of ads for each category displayed in list view. How can re-implement code snippet from AdsManagerMenu Module to achieve that??

Hello,

When you display the categories, the object must contain the number of ads.
echo $cat->num_ads;

Change the name of the obkect if needed.

The $subcat object in List View doesnt contain num_ads variable. You made a mistake

Hello,

You are right, In the list, we are using the function getSubCats(), you can see that function in administrator/components/com_adsmanager/models/category.php.
For the subcat, we don't load the number of ads by category.

To enable that, you need to custom the function that load the subcat to load the number of ads by category to the object returned by the function.
