Hi Admin,

May i know how do i go about ensuring that my users select the every last level of the categories in my list before submitting/previewing their ads?
Would appreciate if you could direct me to the right place to do the above.

Hello,

You can forbid your users to post an ad in the root categories.
To do that, you can use the setting 'Allow ads at root level', in the configuration of AdsManaher, 'general' tab.

Hi Admin,

I did that, however, it did not prompt my users that they need to choose to the very bottom of the category level. Instead, the system allows my users to proceed to the next stage of my "post ads" form.
I am using the form wizard FYI.

Any better way of doing that?

Where can i add a description for the "category" section to inform my users to choose to the very last category level? (Green arrow)

Hello,

The Step 1 text can be changed in the page 'Layout - content form' in the backend of AdsManager. The label for each step are above each available positions.

You need to custom the code to add a description at the left of the category list, since you are using AdsClarity, the file is 'templates/adsclarity/html/com_adsmanager/edit/default.php'.
