Hello,

The constant for the '--' string is ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY.

And yes, AdsManager 3.1.5 is fully compatible with Joomla 3.6.x

i already try to change that string in spanish and english language site but in english when i enter the string again appear the "--" does this string has a limit number of characters ?

There is no limitation

You can use ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY
or
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_0
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_1
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_2

the fact is ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY only works correctly when i choose in the menu adsmanager>category the option Autocomplet Dropdown, but i want it to works in the option Cascade dropdown
In english i can see the strings you said
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_0
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_1
ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY_LEVEL_2
but when i choose spanish (the language i'm working with) only appear ADSMANAGER_SELECT_CATEGORY and as i said it only works on Autocomplet dropdown

So it's working with one language but not with spanish.. I think there is something wrong with latest language files.
