AdsManager - End of life

It is with great regrets that we have chosen to end the developpement of Adsmanager and its other associated components.

AdsManager is born 10 years ago and, as of today, the number of new subscriptions and downloads have fallen and we cannot maintain the component anymore.

All active subscribers will be able to continue enjoying support until the end of their subscription.

The components will be free and no support will be provided anymore for the other users.

You cannot remove it (this is Joomla menu alias stuff)
what you can do is to rename the menu alias (go in hidden menu => select Write Ad Menu item => rename the menu alias

We don't fix that because this is a default feature of Joomla. That url in the result of the alias set in the menu item.

As Loic said the menu alias of Joomla cannot be removed. With Joomla 3.7 coming, this could change with new code (but not sure right now).

Now the URL can be improve by selected a better Itemid for the result page.

We could develop a new "configuration menu" in adsmanager to be able to select for each kind of pages the menu item that should be used. Like this you will have better control on the Itemid selectionf of adsmanager.

This is a dev that will plan for adsmaanger, but not in the coming weeks. If you agree to pay for this feature as a custom dev we can give you a quote to this could be added more more faster in adsmanager.
