[RESOLVED] Remove Subcategory was created by blooskreen

Hello.
I have the golds package of adsmanager version 294.

I'd like to remove the subcategory for all my main categories.

I did some research and found that the view.html.php and default.php files within the view/front folder where the files which i need to edit as per these instructions.

I can't find out how to remove the subcategory on my site.

I figured this much out. Which works, but i don't know if this is the correct way.
what i did to remove the subcategories ....

I took out the following codes on line 72-73 of the default.php file in views/front/tmp.

echo ' - ';
echo '<a href="'.$link.'">'.htmlspecialchars($row->name).$numAds.'</a>'

Its off.

You can mark this as resolved.

or let me know of a better way to do thhis.

Yes this is correct, but when editing tmpl/ files

please do override, this is the better approach in Joomla to be still able to upgrade the software
