Just a little news to inform you that I am going to the French JoomlaDay! this weekend.
The 2.7 release is nearly stable (1 year after 2.6). The target date is in 1 month, 23th April. This release is a major with some important features: Payment per ad (credits system is optional), Email Template, Better Image Uploader, Jomsocial plugins...
This new release will be part of a new major release process. Now, due to more times available, two major releases per year will be done (instead of 1) and some new components will be created to improve the Joomla! experience.
