Hello good afternoon,

I'm configuring my template (AdsClarity) exactly like your demo page for this template.

I have configured the module mod_adsmanager_advancedsearch exactly the same as in its demo page, it is published in the left position and is assigned only to the page of all ads.

However, when I enter a single ad view, the mod_adsmanager_advancedsearch module is also displayed to the left of the screen. I can not figure out how to disable this in AdsManager administration.

Can you give me any indication?

Thank you very much,

Best regards,

J

Hello,

Sorry for the lack of answer, it seems that your message was not seen by the support.

To avoid the display of the module in the details page, you need to create a hidden menu item for the details page.

In the backend -> Menu, create a new hidden menu or select an existing one.
Then create a new menu item with the type 'AdsManager Details' and save it without selecting any specific ads.

Then check in the module that it is not assigned to the new menu item.

Best regards.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your response Loic.

I have done the following:

I have selected my existing main menu.
I have created a new menu item of type 'AdsManager Details'
I have checked that the advanced search module is not assigned to this new element.

What do you mean by hiding the menu item? You mean not posting it?

If it refers to another procedure to hide the new menu item, I do not know that procedure at this time. I have found tutorials to hide a menu but not a single menu item.

I do not fully understand the meaning of this new hidden menu item, or the relationship it has with other elements.

Can you guide me a little more please?

Thank you very much,

Best regards,

J

Hello,

By 'hidden menu' I mean a menu that is not display on your website but exist.

By adding the details menu item on the main menu, the link will be displayed on your website.
By adding it at a hidden menu, it will not be displayed but will still work for the module assignement.

Best regards.

Thank you for your response, Loic.

From your previous instructions I thought I understood that I could use an existing menu to create a hidden menu item.

You indicated to me:

"In the backend -> Menu, create a new hidden menu or select an existing one."

So, I can not hide that new element in my existing menu?

Do I need to create a new menu just for that item?

Thank you very much,

Best regards,

J
