Hi guys
Sorry, but i have read your 'read me' text and am a little confused on how to upgrade to the latest version of ads manager and ads clarity.
I am using ads manager 3.1.6 and also ads clarity (can't find a version number for Ads Clarity)
Do I just download and install the new Ads Clarity 1.0.7 template straight over the existing?
And do I do the same with ads manager, download and install ads manager gold 3.1.9 straight over the existing starting with the unzip first downlaod?
Sorry to be a pain but I am not quite understanding this
(I have backed up my current site)

Hello,

If you have custom code in the component or template, be sure to keep it in a backup folder to redo the change once the upgrade is done.

Then, you just have to reinstall the components and template by using the installer of Joomla.

Once it's done, be sure to save again the setting of the adsmanager_adsmap module, it could cause a fatal error otherwise.

Got to say I am concerned about this.
You guys did the mod for me regarding displaying the contact, I have no idea what you altered and what to save.
Sorry to be a pain but I am not game to upgrade till I know this will not be affected.
Will the upgrade affect the mod you did?

The contact field is a specific field made just for you.

Do a backup of your website by using an extension like 'Akeeba Backup', like that, even if something doesn't work when you update the components and template, you will be able to come back safely to the old version.

Also, note that the upgrade is not mandatory and you can keep your website without upgrading AdsManager.

I am ok with keeping it the same, but I do need to to be able to use the Social Icons module which i can't at the moment. Is there a way of just upgrading that?

Hello,

Yes there is a way

Unzip the archive of adsmanager on your computer and go in plugins/adsmanagercontent/social/. Here create a zip of the content of the folder and install it on your Joomla like any other plugins.
