#234 – AdsManager -lost names/values whilst loading a cascading field

I have recently updated Joomla 3.8.4 today. The update was reported as successful.
Whilst loading entries into a cascading field linked to another parent field, suddenly ALL the nmaes/values i have laoded just diappear and the name in Parent Field disappears too! I have had to reload from a last backup twice today, and this has just happened for the 3rd time.
In myPHP settings I have set 'max_input_vars to 20000.

Is joomla 3.8.4 unstable, or do I have a nother problem?

I have found someone who had the same problem as me on this support. Username 'LatvianApp'. He(?) recorded the problem as loading data in fields. Your answer was to create a 'new table' in your database and feed this in to the area in the fields 'use external database' .
How do you 'create a new table in your database' please? I don't understand this. Is it to do with phpmyadmin database? and how does AdsManager link to the new database?

Yes, by database, we mean the phpmyadmin database of your website.

There you create a new table that will contain the different options title, value, parent.

In adsmanager, in the cascade field, you need to select the use external database option and simply fill the fields with the name of the table and the name of the different column.
