#729 – Importing ads - Ref ticket #105

AdsManager version :3.2.7

Hello,
I saw a closed ticket (#105) that asked for a way to import a .csv file into AdsManager. I have that same issue/request and was wondering if there is a way to do this?
I have been setting up a new site (staging a new template) and need to get the ads from the live site into the staging site before I go live. I did the export from AdsManager and have the .csv file now. Is there anyway to easily get these ads into the the new site?
I'm not a programmer but can follow directions.

There is no easy way since everyone has different adsmanager custom fields.

The demand for that kind of feature is not high enough for a generic feature.

A solution is to import the csv file directly into the database in the table adsmanager_ads and then link the ads to the categories by adding the correct entries in adsmanager_adscat.
