Joomla! version : 3.9.15
PHP version :7.3.14
AdsManager version : 3.2.5

When entering an address into the "gmap" text input area I get an error message. The map is working and I can drag the icon to the correct address which then shows in the text input area.

Where should I look to fix the problem?

Thanks

Hello,

Did you create an API key from Google for the map API ?

If yes, did you also enable the Places API ?

Best regards.

I hadn't but now I have and it works to a point.

I am still getting the Google warning and when a partial address is entered, the drop down list completes but is not selectable.

Selected APIs:

Geocoding API
Maps Embed API
Maps JavaScript API
Maps SDK for Android
Maps SDK for iOS
Maps Static API
Street View Publish API
Street View Static API
Places API

Hello,

did you try to click the ok button to see what it does ?
Also, what is written in the link 'do you own this website' ?
You might need to do something with google to remove that message.

Best regards.

I hit the "Go" button and the map went to the correct address.

I had hoped that you might have encountered this before and perhaps knew where I should look for a resolution. As I said, the drop down list auto completes but is not clickable - and of course there is the Google warning there too.

Kinda strange.

I will leave this ticket open in case you have a suggestion and will close it in a day or two if I don't hear from you.

Thanks for you excellent support.

Best wishes

I guess I didn't wait long enough for Google's system to catch up with my adding "Places API" to my list of API's.

Everything is working as it should now. No warnings at all and the auto complete list is clickable.

I must learn patience.

Thanks again.
