#573 – mySQL error @1071 in line 76

I have a problem with startup using quistart. The script ends on line 76 with "errno #1071 Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes".
Please let me know how to go ahed.

The MySQL version on your server seems to be an old one.

Could you try to update it and retry the installation ?

I can't update the mySQL ver because on server we have differents websites hosted.

Is there a solution without updating mySQL? I just tried to install Joomla 3 and goes well, the problem came from quistart.

The quickstart installation cannot be made then.

You can try to install each components, then the template, once its done, you can reproduce the configuration from the demo website.
demo.joomprod.com/adsclarity/administrator

You can log with the credentials, demo/demo
