#696 – Determine installed AdsManager version

Joomla! version :3.9.14
PHP version :7.3.11
AdsManager version :3.2.5

Hi

I'm pretty sure that I updated AdsManager to the latest version, but when I get into the component's view in Joomla's backend I see "3.2.5" at the bottom. I checked the manifest xml file for the component and this is what I saw:

This is the info displayed in Joomla's extension list, so I'm not sure if I installed the latest version or not. Is there any way I can check for it somewhere else?

Also, I noticed it happens the same with the rest of Joomprod extensions (paidsystem, invoicing, adsclarity). Would it be possible getting these manifest files updated for next versions? That would help a lot for keeping the extensions up to date and avoid getting false positives for old vulnerabilities when scanning the site.

I will check that, but it is entirely possible that the dev team forgot to change the version number on several file.

Thanks for the reply. I really hope that will get updated. In the meanwhile, is there any reliable way of checking which AdsManager version I have installed?

In the worst case scenario, would I have any problems if I would install latest 3.2.7 version again and my current version is actually that?

On any page of AdsManager in the backend, just take a look at the bottom of the page, the version will bo noted here.
