#29 – Two Root Category needed

Joomla! version : 3.7.3
PHP version : 5.4.16
AdsManager version : Gold

Good Morning

ADS Manager permit to choose only one Root category and infinite subcategories ( see attached picture ticket6_1.jpg )


I need two different Root in same module for two different kind of categories ( see attached picture ticket6_2.jpg )

With the standard option it is not easy to insert new ADs.
I have so many teams and many cities that it makes no sense to enter multiple times under any kind of team.


I ask, if possible, to edit some parameters, if it allows me to have a result as in attachment ticket6_2.jpg

I think you should not used "category" for than.

It's better to create a field: team, and a field city.

Or use category for team. and create a city field.


If you want user to be able to filter all ads based on a city, you can use the global filter option. Set the city field as the global filter.
Then all ads will be filtered based on the city whatever the category is.
